Karen is a native San Franciscan and her two daughters have the distinction of being 4th generation San Franciscans. She and her husband Jim made the move to Marin when their children were young because they wanted their daughters to attend the much admired Marin public school system. Her family acclimated to the beauty and culture of Marin very quickly. It was one of the best decisions they have ever made. Both of her daughters are grown and on their own now so she has plenty of time to spend with her adored standard poodle Henri.
Karen enjoys helping people find their homes – especially first time buyers. When it comes to selling or buying your home, she works diligently to make sure that it is a smooth transaction for all parties involved. Communication is her number #1 priority. She believes personal and ongoing contact is very important to building relationships with clients and ultimately leads to the success of the transaction.
Karen currently serves on the board for the North Marin Community Services. She is also a volunteer advocate for Prisoner Advocacy Network (PAN) in San Francisco. In her spare time she enjoys long distance walking, reading a great book, and is an enthusiastic knitter. What brings balance and fun into her life is singing with The Hubs of Marin – a 60’s 70’s rock’n roll group band that all live locally in Marin. Karen also continues to teach CPR and First Aid in the Bay Area – which has allowed her to meet many wonderful people.
